Amazingly professional and helpful service. Cam gave lots of advice and guidance (and a few re-quotes) before we had even agreed to sign with his company. He was friendly and professional and responded quickly to enquiries. The solar panels were installed soon after signing and the installation and removal of old panels was super quick. The tradies left the job site perfectly clean. Evo Solar also took care of all the paperwork for rebates after explaining them all carefully to us. Cam’s communication throughout was excellent and he stayed in contact until the app readings were all working properly and we were satisfied. Cameron from EvoSolar won our installation. I searched from December 2023 to find a company that I felt comfortable with. Solar is not a cheap purchase. There are many shonky operators out there. before I made my decision I bought a HeatPump from Cameron’s sister company, Geelong Heat Pumps. The installation was well done and very tidy PLUS their instructions how to set the controller was excellent. I took the trouble to discuss in depth what me PV requirements were and Cameron gove me excellent guidance- to the point that we ended up with Enphase and a TESLA battery.
Our system was activated on 22/05/2024 and to date (early days though) we have not had a need to draw from the grid. Cameron’s staff did a superb lob of installing, neat and tidy and well within the regulations. I can strongly suggest EvoSolar and Cameron’s well trained staff. Travis, the electrician who did the installation was well informed and superbly qualified. Travis also gave us excellent guidance as to how the various APP’s interpreted the various facets of the equipment. Cameron gave me an excellent product at a competitive price. Money well spent.
FURTHER UPDATE. 4 August 2024.
Since my system was activated 22/05/2024 I have not used ANY power from the grid. My whole house is now on electricity. We have installed a Reclaim Heat Pump, electrified the kitchen and disconnected the city gas. We regularly heat our house using air conditioners and our Tesla battery has never gone below 45%. Understandably there are only two of us but we have lots of reserve even if there are days of cloud with little sun. Our system tops up our battery even when cloudy. The Enphase inverters show the performance of each panel and combined array. Very happy with our very neat installation. (25 x 475w panels)
