Initial interaction with Frank was good. Seemed to be a legit quote and responsive service. A date was booked, but due to hail damage I had to push back the date. This was in January. I was still trying to get some action on a date in July at which point I gave up and in august I requested a refund which the company agreed to provide, but took an excessive period on this as well. It wasn’t until I lodged a complaint with OFT that I was able to finally get the refund. In short, I was out of pocket 2300 bucks from December 2023 till September, with no savings by having solar, and feeling like I was of no value to the company, especially after lie after lie regarding installation dates etc. Never been this disappointed or depressed about a business dealing in my life.

Fantastic service and great communication. We tried for almost a year to have solar installed and Smart House Solar had our system installed within 6 weeks of getting our quote. They kept us informed and even followed up with us after the installation was completed. Highly recommend them.

Very courteous and professional staff made the whole process from planning to installation seamless.
The system was installed by a local electrical firm with a very high Google rating.
I am an electrical engineer myself and I can honestly say the standard of installation was beyond my expectations.
Whilst on the roof one of the installers even inspected the whole of the roof for any broken or cracked tiles ” since he was up there anyway”.
He then changed any that were damaged although they didn’t cause any damage themselves.
I would suggest that anyone getting any work done on a tiled roof gets hold of some extra tiles , just in case !!
All in all a very pleasant experience,which has saved us thousands as we now charge our Electric vehicle for next to nothing 👍👍

I had installed the system from Smart House Solar about 3.5 years ago, so far I have no issues. You can choose you own brand of inverter and solar panels, the process was simple and efficient to use. The price was competitive and good value. The installation took about a day to complete and they did a good job. Customer service was good as well overall.
