Terrible customer support! Nobody would get back to me and when they did weren’t helpful at all. Our app(which we paid extra for)stopped working, instead of giving instructions over the phone. The company insisted I pay for a technician to come out to restart it. I would never recommend this company to anyone again. Even during the install it seemed dodgy with two of the young men in a room whispering and looking guilty when I walked in?.

Lisa was fantastic at helping us obtain a system to future-proof our energy needs. Then, the installation team faced an even greater challenge when the fifty-year-old fuse board finally collapsed and needed replacing as part of the installation of the new system. The team called in other staff who had been held up by rain in order to complete our installation in a single day. We were so grateful for getting all this done in a single day.
We are currently powering our home, plus an apartment for our daughter and grandson. We also have a bore that can only be used twice weekly for part of the year. Then, it can only be operated using the battery storage due to the time of day when it can be used.
Also, last winter, Synergy used our area to shed power when they could not support the general load. They had set up our system to stop any use of power to our kitchen appliances and the apartment. Even though we had enough power in the batteries to cover the main the nights when this happened.This was one of the main considerations when assessing our upgrade system.

Second time I’ve used them. Couldn’t beat the price, sales and install team were great.
Unfortunately this time, they called me on morning of installation to tell me they needed to reschedule due to not having the right rails in stock, very frustrating since I took the day off work to accommodate.

I went with Westsun Energy who were the most expensive of 3 quotes, to ensure I had a seamless install. Everything went well except the installers left without having properly set up the solar monitoring.
The issue got kicked around the office and there was no urgency to resolve, until it was raised the final invoice had not been settled. I then got told by one of the directors it was because I had a split band (2.4ghz / 5g modem) and I needed to buy a new modem and then they would come out and look at the issue. I got on google and looked up how to set it up myself and it got it working.
I gave 3 stars because I had good dealings with Neil, Nikki and the installers did a good job but I was very disappointed at the lack of interest in finishing the job. I hope I don’t have any warranty issues because if from what I have seen is anything to go by it will be like pulling hens teeth.

Excellent sales service by Ben Emery and installation by his team. Mostly I’m really grateful for the post sales service. I’ve had a couple of issues with the battery (not a fault of the product) and Ben or a member of his team have phoned me back promptly and resolved the issue, either over the phone or by coming to site. Highly recommend Ben and his team.

VERY VERY POOR AFTER SALE SERVICE. I HAVE A QUOTE AND HAD IT INSTALLED 8 YEARS AGO FOR $3955 WITH A 10 YEAR WARRANTY. MY7 INVERTER HAS BEEN OUT OF ACTION FOR AROUND 2 MONTHS, i CAN NOT GET CONTACT WITH ANYONE FROM WESTSUN SOLAR TO FIX IT OR EVEN LOOK AT IT.
