HCB has in the past installed a battery system to my house and more recently replaced an inverter. I am really impressed by the professional way they managed these installations and the quality of the equipment they distribute. These devices have cut my energy bills to almost nothing and HCB has continued to provide after sales service and support.

WE have had two systems installed by HCB solar and are highly satisfied with the products and the service, through from quoting to follow up. HCB deliver premium quality systems that may cost a bit more, but are better value in the long run. Besides the reliability and longevity of the hardware, HCB provide excellent follow up service. They notified us of a NSW scheme of interest free loans to install batteries. They notified us of a recall on our first inverter, and came and replaced it within days free of charge. The technician missed the connection for the solar diversion water heater unit, leaving us with no hot water:) The next day, as no other technicians were available, the General Manager came personally from Cardiff to Maitland to correct it! Needless too say I could not fault HCB in any way, unless it was to say they are just too good!!

Had a small enphase installed a few years back and have been satisfied with the savings but when I called to see if I could increase the size I found out that model was no longer available BUT a new model battery would be available that would be compatible. They said they would call me when it was available. Unfortunately I have not heard from them.

Very professional installation and service. Ongoing monitoring discovered a fault with two optimizers which were replaced under warranty. HCB always answer the phone promptly and are available to address any concerns without fuss. A fantastic local business in the Hunter.

Like many, I did a fair bit of research before selecting HCB Solar (having had either no confidence or no satisfactory response from four previous companies). From my first phone call to the installation (yesterday) and to our first full day with the system, I have nothing but praise. From order to installatioin was only 2 weeks, the pre-installation inspection was excellent in providing both information and advice, the installers arrived on time, were courteous and efficient, gave a great run through of the system and how to monitor production and consumption and left the place clean and tidy. I would happily recommend them and would certainly use them again for future expansion of the system. ***** Now some years down the track I would still recommend them. We had one small part fail a few years ago. One phone call, no problem, fixed in a matter of days. I’m only sorry we didn’t install a battery at the same time as the panels!
