For anyone considering solar and batteries, I did a tonne of research into this and went with Symons Energy. They’ve put 30 panels on the roof and we will literally be able to run off-grid. They use quality solar and batteries, a system that knows when to heat the water system AND we even intelligently sells back to the grid during peak times if we have ample battery reserves!
With so many dodgy solar companies it’s hard to know who’s using cheap components and who’s the real deal, So contact Kosta if you’re considering a system, or have concerns with the system you already have. Thanks Kosta!

We had Symons Energy come out and install a Catch relay energy monitor so we could track the consumption of our AC, pool pump and Hot water. He did a fantastic job, and the catch relay will easily pay for its self in only a few months with what I have found since its install. While there, Kosta inspected our solar system, fixed a blown fuse we didn’t know about and gave us a report and recommendations for future upgrades we asked about.

Kosta was excellent to deal with, answering our endless questions so we completely understood the system we were getting. The price was very competitive and we know we got a quality product. On installation day Jesse and Joel did a terrific job and Kosta came out to address a few more of our questions. The apps we are using to monitor the system and excellent; simple and easy to use. The system has been in now for 2 weeks and we could not be happier.

Symons Energy supplied and installed our latest solar storage system. He was fast to deliver and his price was well below the going rate. The day he installed was a shocker, pouring rain and wind gusts but he kept working to get the job done! Since then, he has also been back to sort out issues with the previous battery installation, done by a “big” company who just couldn’t get it right and literally took months to respond to any enquiries. It’s an absolute minefield out there when you’re choosing solar suppliers and installers. We are so happy with Kosta’s workmanship, service, and price and would recommend him without hesitation. Great guys, Costa walked me through every step making sure I understood the how’s and whys. On the day of booking we had a storm so had to reschedule but the communication was great.
We had to upgrade my switch board (old Queenslander with old wiring.) and even my electrician friends was impressed with the care taken in the wiring.
Would 100% recommend these guys. Totally worth it.
