The sales service from Jay was exceptional. He was always available to answer the phone and would promptly return my calls if I missed him. He gave me all the options and made changes to the panel arrangement whenever I requested. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge.

The installation was organised and the installers did a pretty good job with the install. I was left with an invoice and not much else. I didn’t receive any information on the next steps I needed to take once the system was installed, such as getting monitoring setup, contacting energy provders with certain information etc.

I contacted the office and was told that I should have contacted my energy provider 2 weeks out from the install, this was never communicated to me previously. I also enquired about how I gain access to my production and consumption data and I was a told that Goodwe will email me that in the coming weeks.

Weeks later, I contacted again and was told that Adelaide Solar need to setup the monitoring data. Every time I rang the office I was told something different, absolute incompetence from each person I spoke to. After ringing often about the monitoring I was given the email address of someone in a separate company who was setting it up for me. Evidently, it was now my responsibility to ensure this part of the job gets completed.

I never once felt like I had someone advocating for me on the inside. It was just “Oh, we’re not used to setting up these Goodwe inverter’s”, whatever that is supposed to mean.

2 months on, I still have no monitoring data for my own solar, nor do they have any idea if my system is operating optimally, and no one seems to care.

Very disappointing, I wouldn’t recommend.

The monitoring was rectified but my 10kW system is limited to 5kW, which took 3 months to determine because the monitoring wasn’t working. I have constantly asked for assistance, and Tyson has absolutely no interest in helping me fix the issue. He never returns my calls or emails, next step is speaking to a manager and getting this sorted. I can’t wait until this is over so I can forget that I ever used this company.

I am really happy with my new solar system by Adelaide Solar Systems – it has been quality and service from end to end, with a detailed quote specific to my house and great price too, as well as quick quoting and seamless process. The installation team were lovely and easy to deal with, and patiently walked me through how the system works. The finished product looks amazing on the roof too! Highly recommend the team and the product! Couldn’t be happier – for me and the environment!

We had 2 sets of solar panels & a battery installed by Adelaide Solar & we couldn’t be happier. Their staff are friendly & professional & carried out the installation very efficiently. The after sales service is also exemplary. When we’ve had any queries or small issues, they attend to our query immediately. We highly recommend this excellent business.

This company came to quote when they said they would. The guy was friendly and professional. There was no badgering to get a sale. I decided to go ahead, replacing my 12 year old 1.5 KW solar and upgrading to a 6.5KW system. Once the installation date was known, they provided great service and took the old panels away. Everything is operational and I have an app on my phone which shows usage and feed-in. Easy company to deal with.

Warning. Adelaide Solar business model consists of Sell, Fit then Forget. Customer Service is completely non existent. Need to be dragged kicking and screaming to even meet the most basic customer interaction. Worst purchase decision ever.
