Sorry i had posted a bad but accurate review here about astra solar, the cause of my ire was austra solar, do not use them incompetent idiots, as far as astra is concerned , i don’t know,

Daniel and the installation team were fantastic. They went out of their way to make sure we understood the workings and were happy with result.
Highly recommend Astra for your rooftop installation .

Held off wanting to leave a review as multiple opportunities have been given to pick up their game on customer service and all but as great as a lot of their reviews are, they some times drop the ball too. Was made to feel quite irrelevant once the sale with Ben was made/done. Quite a bit of misinformation given which only came to light after installation so make sure you do your homework on what you’re being told (we are investigating this further as it felt like we were being told not so much lies but the inflated data and wishful figures to secure the sale). Day of installation went well a part from the mess and rubbish left behind which at no point was communicated (and it was a fair bit). Also not to mention, there was no advice for any deliveries being made prior to install, with no time to prepare where equipment would be stored until the install day. Although not their own delivery drivers, the drivers themselves were quite rude and demanding for either not being available at home to accept the delivery or for not being aware of the deliveries being made. The inverter failed twice after installation and eventually managed to get onto someone who actually valued good customer service and managed to get things moving much quicker than a wind trying to move a boulder. Feel horrible for recommending a good friend to have their solar done with Astra and they only experienced the same if not worse. Have been asked on multiple occasions who we used for our solar and have been very quick to issue a word of warning. What should of been a straight forward and positive experience has not been in our instance, which after reading all their reviews before signing on we got the short end of the stick and have been left quite bitter and disappointed. As it stands, STILL waiting on a reply to yet another email sent back over a month ago so I can’t do more than say do your research and be cautious with who you go with and their after service care.

These guys have my data and I did not give permission for them to contact me. They have messaged me twice in the last two days with offers. Stop messaging me and stop using people’s data without their consent.

Poor installation poor customer service will not call back all rubbish left behind solar not screwed down covering sky lights

We had an amazing experience with Ben and the team at Astra Solar! Ben’s dedication and persistence were truly impressive. He didn’t give up on us even when we had doubts initially, and we are so glad he didn’t. The savings on our energy bill have been substantial, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to go solar using Astra Solar. The team provided a 5 star service across the entire job (start to end). I must also mention customer support post install has been exceptional. Thanks, Ben and Astra Solar! Anthony did a good job to install solar on my property in Banks. It’s running well and I am happy on their service.
