Had AHS come in and install a solar system for my elderly parents which was quoted up as Huawei SUN2000 inverters, but upon physical inspection, I realised AHS had installed Huawei SUN600-Lite inverters (a much cheaper model). Panel type was also substituted to an array that required less panels, resulting in a minor shortfall (13.2kw installed instead of 13.28 as quoted). While they have now changed the inverters back to the quoted model, we have not received a satisfactory explanation or any compensation to why this is ok. Recommend re-checking your hardware installations if using AHS. Will continue to pursue a resolution through discussions with AHS and Fair Trading.

Note also we were verbally told that we would be able to view consumption but AHS have since told us installing a consumption meter would cost an extra $990 to supply and install. Worth noting when comparing solar installers.

Edit: To AHS response, if you can provide evidence you offered the credit to me before i discovered the switch of inverters, i will withdraw my review and fair trading complaint.
