The new off grid battery system is working great. The installation is first class. However, I was the person that chased Enphase about doing a deal with an exchange of batteries. One of their new batteries in exchange for our 3 older unreliable batteries. I think this is an area that you can improve your customer service. As the new owner I know that you inherited our battery problem but in the end you did get a sale on the off grid control system. All the best. David. PS. you told my wife that you would come around and give me a run down on the new system but you didn’t turn up!

I previously had seven 1.24Kw Enphase batteries installed. Owing to the great work by the team at GoSolar Newcastle, Enphase upgraded and replaced these batteries with two new 5Kw IQ batteries. The installation was completed seamlessly, including the hardwiring of the reporting system. Nothing was too difficult for Kallan and the team to ensure the system was installed in a timely manner and to my total satisfaction, I’ve dealt with GoSolar for several years now and have no hesitation in recommending them to new customers. They won’t disappoint.

I was recommended to GoSolar Company by a neighbour and was delighted with the recommendation. I had my solar panels upgraded to 18 Rec 6.970 KW Solar panels and 18 Emphase IQ8 Micro Inverters. The installation was done professionally in a day by a great team of tradesmen. Kallan was very patient sorting out the communication software around my house and explaining what was going on. I am in my seventies and not particularly great with technology. I was grateful for the friendliness and support given to me by Kallan and Ciara when they installed the app and took a long time to make sure I understood how everything works and how to monitor the system on my mobile phone. We were introduced to this company by a neighbour and were we delighted with the recommendation. The salesman Lewis is a great representative for the company and even when we postponed our initial installation he remained totally positive to the job.
We had our installation finished in no time at all and every one of the installation team were again a credit to the company. We were brought through the use of the app and while I’m in my middle sixties the app was explained with professionalism and curtesy. We only finished our build six months after a horrid time from the builder and I can only say that Go Solar have given us back our respect for tradesmen. We’ve had solar panels working for us for nearly ten years. We have been very happy with the power bill savings they generated, that was until the recent round of energy price increases started to eat into the solar savings. The team at Go Solar provided us with no nonsense advice on the best way to improve on our current (excuse the pun) system. With the addition of two IQ5P batteries and gateway we are now getting the most from our solar panels, day and night. From the get go with Lewis giving us the ideas, to Kallan and the installation team putting life to those ideas, the process was easy and professional. The Enlighten App has proved incredibly useful in getting a clear understanding of our home energy usage, although my wife thinks I ‘geek’ out a bit much with it. However, it has provided a great vehicle for better energy use in our home, and that’s got to be a good thing all round. I guess in the end you get what you pay for, and you definitely get a great product and support with Go Solar. If you are looking for a solution to an energy problem at your place, give them a call.

We were in the market for solar panels and were approached by another company in relation to an install. Their approach was a little off putting and they tried to warn us off competitors which prompted us to search elsewhere.
We reached out to a few other solar companies and GoSolar was really responsive. We were linked in with Lewis who did a great job of understanding our needs and talking through the benefits of separate micro-inverters & the Enphase app. The pricing was right for our budget and competitive.
The install was completed by Geoff, Kallan & Mark who talked us through the process whilst being friendly & efficient.
The panels look great and the Enphase App allows you to see when your panels are producing so you can best gamify your solar with your appliances.
I would recommend Go Solar Newcastle and if we were to expand/buy another house I would use them again.
