Going Solar, with team leader Rushi Patel, did a great job for me at a reasonable price. Going Solar had installed 12 solar panels 7 yrs ago and I wanted more panels and a battery system. They were able to successfully integrate the two sets of panels with the battery. The battery also provides stand alone power if mains cuts out. I can charge the battery using midnight pricing, which is a good cost saving. The team were helpful, communicative and responsive and good at providing technical information. Highly recommended.

Reading your website I understand you promise continuing support “through the life of your system”.
I have been asking for someone to assess my broken existing system for well over a year, with no response. I have sent photos of the system when requested, and made many phone calls, with promises of callbacks that have never been returned.
I am left with a solar power system that is not working, not generating power or saving me money on electricity bills, the prospect of another wasted summer, and no support from the company that sold and installed it.

With a tricky hot water system using solar panels and a ‘wetback’ on our wood fired stove, we had many businesses telling us it had to be torn out and the only option was a new system. Going Solar understood our situation form the start and worked to find a suitable and affordable solution. In addition, the installation went seamlessly, with their plumber being an expert in the solar business who was also reliable and tidy! Not easy to find! I’d highly recommend the Going Solar team.

Going Solar designed and installed a home PV system for me. Our system is on an inner city apartment roof so it was a challenging ask – 4 different roofs pointing in different directions. A number of other companies looked at the satellite view and refused to even quote for the job. Going Solar did an on-site inspection for free and then came up with a plan and quote. They were highly professional throughout the whole process. They did preliminary electrical work while our renovations were happening and then completed the job when it was finished which made the whole process very efficient. The (independent) electrical inspector was very impressed by their work. He said he sees some fairly ordinary work on some PV systems but that Going Solar’s work was of a very high standard. I strongly recommend Going Solar.
