I initially had good dealings with Goliath Solar and Electrical until the brand new Solar Edge inverter failed within the 24 months period. The system has reported a failure since mid November 2024 and to date 1 week before Christmas, Daniel from Goliath Solar and Electrical cannot guarantee as to when the new inverter will be delivered and installed. The last update from him was that Solar Edge only just read his email – 10 business days after this was sent. The Solar Edge inverter was recommended by Goliath Solar and Electrical but the manufacturer doesn’t stand by their warranty or reliability of their products which has left us with no solar connection since November. I don’t really understand why the manufacturer doesn’t care based on what Daniel advised me. I also don’t understand why there is no care whatsoever from the manufacturer and installer despite the fact that I have patiently waited for an update. I did try to call Daniel today, 16 December as he promised to provide an update today, but it seems his words and promises were false, and he doesn’t seem to care about my situation, especially where we’ve been suffering high temperatures in Adelaide for last two weeks.
I don’t know if I will be able to trust anyone about this, and am wanting our investment to be returned and either the manufacturer or installer to refund our bills for the electricity that was consumed during the period of inaction since we raised our concerns.

Highly recommended for solar installation.
From start to finish and into the future, the service was just so good.
It’s nice to find a local company who genuinely gives a damn about the service they provide.
They use good equipment for the install (panels, inverter) so you don’t have to worry about inferior quality.
And just so easy to communicate with. And the installers were friendly and gave you lots of options for inverter positions.

While it did not work out to further pursue the install of a solar system with Goliath due to the type of my roof tiling, Ben from Goliath was an absolute legend. Rather than promising something that could ultimately not be delivered he was transparent about his concerns upfront and took the time to call and provide advice on how I could move forward even though there was nothing for him to gain. Thanks Ben, I wish more companies would be like you.

After sales they remain engaged to ensure the system is working well and that you are satisfied. Can recommend electrical retailers for your specific energy usage to maximise savings.

All of this is a cut-above for solar installers in my experience. Even considering all of that, their price was super competitive.

We engaged the team at Goliath Solar and Electrical to supply and install a solar system for our home. From the initial inquiry, the team were very knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions (no matter how silly/small/specific). Their recommendation showed they really knew their stuff, picking up things other companies didn’t (eg. elements of shade on certain parts of the roof that would impact solar production), which meant we would have had undelivered promises if we went with some of the other providers and their “deals” of false promises. Goliath took the time to make sure we were comfortable with their recommendation and quotation, and then worked with us to plan and execute a seamless installation.

The quality of workmanship was second-to-none, and the team were clean, polite and made very little noise (other than the power tools when they needed them). We have had 1 small question since installation, relating to our “user error” on the App for the solar system, which the team were very helpful with solving and explaining.

I cannot recommend the team at Goliath Solar & Electrical enough if you want a stress free solar installation experience. Furthermore, their quotation was extremely competitive, and I don’t think you will find a better price for the knowledge, quality of work and service you receive from dealing with them.

Spent a number of weeks shopping around for quotes for a number of different places. I told all the businesses that I had full sun on my roof all year round, but got a call from Goliath a few hours later saying they had looked at my roof and found mid winter there was shade on one end. It was the extra mile, customer service and good pricing that led me to choose them. Have had the system installed for 12 months now and really happy with it. I contacted them again recently and they made recommendations around power companies based on current feed in tariffs and prices. They also didn’t try to upsell me extra when not needed. Really happy with them and would 100% recommend.
