I have gone from doing an update on my solar system on a previous house, to designing a new house which then went on to another design again. During this time I have used Island Energy at San Remo. They have been fantastic to deal with throughout as my needs have changed. In the end I have used a 13.5Kw solar system with a similar size inverter and an 11Kw battery system. Mark’s patience, knowledge and ability to design a system that suited my needs has been excellent. Many design issues with the new house dictated a flexible approach to making our solar setup workable. I could not have asked for a better company and personnel to work with me to this end. Island Energy’s team was also very helpful in navigating the administration side of things when dealing with government programs and red tape, to dealing with energy companies. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Island Energy, Mark and his team.

Very good service and we are happy with the product and even though it is winter have noticed an immediate and material decrease in our power bills. Island Energy have been excellent to deal with. The installer made last minute roof install changes with my approval to maximise solar input/output. My energy company (Red Energy) has me able to track my entire energy use and solar feed hour by hour. The end to end process took longer than I expected but that was due to process with my energy company and independent approval as opposed to Island Energy. I believe my system as installed is of very good quality and perhaps near the top of those available in the Australian market. I certainly recommend Island Energy.
