Installation in 2012 was brilliant. The team were knowledgeable, professional, engaging and I was very happy. But the support when issues were encountered with the system has been lacking.
My inverter screen went blank after a few years, and when I called for support, was told they no longer do residential support, only commercial and that I hadn’t paid for the extended warranty with them, so it’s not covered.
Fast forward to 2019, where I noticed that the inverter had the red light flashing and Leeson was supporting residential again.
With some guidance, I was able to get error logs that dated back to at least 2016 and was informed of an historical water ingress issue with the Trina Panels which could possibly be one of the things impacting our system.
Over the next 2 years there were multiple emails and phone calls with Leeson, and my agreement to pay the non-refundable $350 call out fee. In this time, I unknowingly had an ineffective fire hazard on my roof and they still hadn’t come to investigate.
I’ve moved on to another company who have been excellent, identified the fault and are putting in a warranty claim.
Leesons lack of support has cost me a lot of money and time and I cannot recommend them.

I have adjusted the stars and feel its important to update this story.
Leeson, did end up following up last year, and managed the entire replacement of my panels, support structures etc and ensured I was not out of pocket for the services I paid for over the past couple of years or the replacements.
I cannot fault the attention to detail and support and service I did receive from that point on.
To the extent, that I will be a returning customer to Leeson when I move to a bigger system and battery.

I was very impressed with the pre-sales service by Daniel and the team at Leeson solar. The experience was a lot more thorough than the other solar companies we got quotes from, so we went ahead and bought a system through them. We’ve now had the system installed and running for a few months and are very happy with the quality of the install and the after sales support. Loving the savings on our power bill! But be warned that watching the dashboard of your power use and solar generation can be a bit addictive!

Paid the deposit for the Solar panel to be installed. the installers advised the tiles on the roof are fragile and should get them looked at my a roof professional. We did so costing us $5K+ for a roof restoration, then be told they wont install them anyway. Lack of communication made the whole experience worse. Waste of money and time

Leeson Group is corrupt why build in a flood zone? Electricity does not mix with water! His Corop solar farm will be destroyed by floodwaters his solar panels, inverters, battery banks, fences and trees all will be destroyed. Contacted Peter Leeson to meet at the site to discuss this issue he just laughed and said we will use your property as a swimming pool and dump all the water to you!
I have to ask my wife when I can meet you. WHAT!
Of cause he never got back to us!
integrity, work with neighbours, work ethics where! all lies sends workers to Trespass on our property with no permission! So corrupt! Peter Leeson has a lot of people sleeping in his bed with him. You try and flood us out we are going to stand up to you heard of David and Goliath! Underhanded tactics used don’t invest in this company they are corrupt!

I am extremely unhappy and frustrated with the lack of response and communication from this company. I have been calling with no response for the last month to get someone to attend to our issues with our system. We installed our panels in 2021 and had our batteries replaced last year, so I’m struggling to figure out what could be the issue. The inverter they installed just switches itself off, I would not recommend giving business to these guys!

Our solar panels and battery were installed almost a year ago. We moved in about 5 months ago and the battery hasnt worked since then. The techs were scheduled to attend ad rectify the issue but they cancelled both appointments. Absolutely hopeless. Steer clear from these guys!

I am receiving the worst ever service from This company and it’s associated parties.
It’s been around 5 months I approached them with issue of the menu panels they installed a year ago and their service is pathetic. No one takes responsibility, no one return the calls, no one responds to the email.

Pedro in customer service provided objective info for me to navigate the confusing world of solar. I felt informed by the time I made the decision to select Lesson (which I did on the basis of the quality of the inverter and panels, and the representation of a quality install). While we had an unusual hiccup at validation stage, the matter was resolved successfully. The comms with various members of Leeson I interacted with were clear and helpful. The system handover process could have been slightly improved. Would definitely recommend Leeson 🙂
