My rooftop solar hot water panel burst, and leaked thousands of litres of water. Living Solar responded very promptly to my call for help, disconnected the panel from my Rinnai water heater, so I had water – cold and hot – and offered to replace the gas-burning Rinnai with an electric heat pump. This was delivered when promised, competently installed with excellent service by the installer

I was almost about to go to another installer which offered a cheap solution. After speaking with Rob (and with another few friends who unfortunately had a cheap option from another installer), I understood more regarding reliability, ongoing running (noise, electricity consumption, speedy heating, etc.)/maintenance/replacement issues and environment impact. Very knowledgeable. Patiently listened to my various hare-brained schemes for rooftop hot water and gently suggested better (and cheaper) alternatives more suited to the practicalities of my property. The sub-contracted plumbers and electricians used were also friendly and punctual. In all they offered a pretty comprehensive service for a fair price. They only use Rinnai products though, slight limitation, though that might change so you should check in with them. Definitely recommend Living Solar
