MC Electrical Reviews

We recently had a solar system installed by MC Electrical and I am extremely happy with the result and I can’t recommend them enough! The entire process from first contact to quote to install to handover to after sales customer service was nothing short of brilliant. I did a lot of research prior to the install and I knew what I wanted so I received three quotes from different companies to compare pricing and products. All quotes had similar pricing with all quoting the Fronius Gen24 inverter, but different panels. Even though MC Electrical was a fraction more expensive, I chose to go with them for a few reasons. Firstly they clearly know solar, you just need to look at their website or YouTube channel to see they know their stuff. Secondly, they have their own employees, not subcontractors, which I think is important as it usually means a better quality install as the guys have more pride in their work. I was also happier with the Canadian Solar panels quoted by MC compared to the other quotes as they have been around a while and have great reviews on numerous websites. An additional benefit was MC being a Fronius Solutions Partner Plus which gives additional warranty on the inverter and more access to support if needed. Lastly, it is pretty hard to ignore all the amazing reviews MC Electrical gets on various websites. So, because of these things, I decided to go with MC Electrical and I’m glad I did as the entire process was so easy. My initial quote from Ben was pretty much spot on, but I did have to go back a few times with questions and clarifications, all of which were answered quickly, with no issues. Once I gave the go ahead I was contacted super quickly to arrange an install date and was provided with all the info I would need to know moving forward. On install day, the team arrived on time and Alan gave me a quick run through, clarified a few things and then the guys set to work. I was home for the entire install and was so impressed with how the guys worked so well together and were so precise with how they went about things. Everything was done with no fuss and finished ahead of schedule, with all mess cleaned up and rubbish taken away. I was blown away with how neat and tidy the inverter install was and love how everything is labelled with etched tiles. My wife thinks I am weird, but I keep looking at the inverter in the garage and commenting how pretty it all is! I was given a final run through on how everything works and the team was on their way. After the install, Jo and Kendall were in contact to finalise payment and provide a whole heap of information about the next steps, which was all so helpful. Every step I was kept up to date with detailed instructions, links and videos on what was next and what I needed to do. Logins were setup to the inverter monitoring service and all relevant applications were made to the energy provider so I was left with nothing to do but watch the kW production add up in the monitoring app. Thanks MC Electrical, you made the entire process so quick and easy, I will certainly be recommending you to anyone who asks (and probably some who don’t)!

Highly recommend MC Electrical. We have used them twice and have been very happy with the process. After sales care is exceptional.

Had an issue with the Fronious Gen24 due to a firmware upgrade. Contacted MC Electrical and the guys were very helpful in resolving the issue in the first contact itself. Much appreciated.
