RE POWER IDEAS PTY LTD SOLAR PANEL PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION.
After succumbing to continual marketing calls from call centres , I eventually gave in and had Dip from Power Ideas make arrangements for an upgrade and installation of new solar panels. Dip is a salesman that knows what he is talking about and I went ahead with the upgrade due to Dip.
Dip sent Ben’s crew to do the installation. The job was done with total quality and expertise. I am more than happy with the job and result. My point of view is that of an electrical contractor that has been in business for many years.

Power Ideas have been very helpful again with our second solar installation having installed the first in 2021 and again early this year. Over the last 9 months we have only incurred one bill of $57 for our electricity. We plan to have a battery installed next. Installers did a great job & took all the packing away. Unhappy with the sales side though, we added to our existing system which gave us 20 Kw running 2 x 10 Kw inverters, they did not inform us of the new penalty to export back to the grid, you have to pay 1.2 cents per Kw to export back to the grid from 10 am to 3pm, starting on July 1, 2024, had we been advised of this, we would have bought a battery, they claim they never knew but after checking, it was given the green light to do so in 2023, commencing July 1 2024, do your homework before committing to see what suits is best for you.
