Quite useful – as long as you only use one of the drop down batteries – custom batteries cant be entered as it requires percentages – and the “percentage” fields dont allow percentages to be entered.
UPDATE – the problem is that it asks for PERCENTAGES but it doesnt want percentages – it wants DECIMAL FRACTIONS. If you try to enter 90 (e.g. 90%) the system changes it to zero – and the calculations dont work. If you want 90% you have to enter it as .9 (no leading zero – if you enter a leading zero – the field is zero).
The system “works” but the field descriptions are wrong. I spent a lot of wasted time discovering that. Data has to be entered in a VERY specific format – that isnt mentioned.

WOW, how good is this, I stumbled on Solar Choice looking for info on battery location as my neighbour may be installing it outside their garage, opposite our bedroom window (fantastic !… not) and, so refreshing to read someone who is prepared to tell the truth about all things Solar/Battery. The elephant in the room for me is still the rare earth mining, (using diesel machinery) the manufacture (using coal in China) and disposal of tired panels and batteries, …. its going to be next environmental disaster.
