Took a while to get to the point of agreeing the appropriate system but after that all went relatively smoothly. The installer was excellent to work with and did a great job. In our case this was an additional solar installation with the two inverters (SolarEdge and Fronius) being AC coupled. In this configuration neither the SolarEdge nor the Fronius (Solarweb) apps provide a complete picture and this should be explained to the customer prior to installation. Also, as we have an EV, we’ve implemented ChargeHQ on top of the apps and now charge exclusively off solar power. The option to implement this solution should also be explained to customers in order that they can maximise the use of their solar/battery investment.
