Never use this company. They lie to you and say the use full time employees for installs, but they don’t. The installer showed up in a van with another companies name on it, wearing another companies shirt and when I asked at the end of the install, confirmed in no uncertain words that they were sub-contractors.
These subcontractors damaged my house by drilling a hole in the brick before checking if it would work then they just filled the hole with silicone and shards of brick and didn’t mention. It wasn’t until the next day that I noticed it and reported to Sunrun who refused to fix it.
They also left scratches all over my colorbond roof which the subcontractor did come back and spray over. They also sprayed the silicone hole a vaguely similar colour which apparently for Sunrun is good enough.
Absolute rubbish company that will lie to your face to make a sale and take no responsibility for damages afterwards. Avoid them at all costs

On the day of the install is when things started going poorly.
· Safety rails were installed in such a way that they scratched paint on my colorbond roof.
· Holes were drilled in my brick wall for cable runs where the inverter was to be installed without determining first of there would be any challenges in doing so. Spoiler alert, the cable runs could not be internal as they for some reason couldn’t fit them through the space. This is something I believe could have been determined before drilling into the wall with a basic endoscopic camera. There are now siliconed holes in my brickwork. It’s weather tight, but a constant reminder of the unnecessary damage to the home.
· Where the cable runs were required to be run externally due to the inability to run them through the wall, a roof sheet needed to be lifted. The screws that were removed were put back in without their rubber washers. The washers were left in the gutter.
· A gutter hanger was left bent and damaged, not holding the gutter in that spot.
· Gutter guards were not used for ladders anywhere a ladder was placed, resulting is paint being scratched off to the bare metal.
· While on the roof, the installers caused damage to the paint in several areas visible from the ground. The paint was gouged down to the bare metal.
· Dents were made in multiple places on the roof. These remain and wont be resolved.
· Before shots were not taken of the roof for my records prior to beginning works as per request that was documented on my signed quote.

Amazing service by Sunrun Solar and their team. From start to finish it felt like they knew exactly what they are doing.
No pushy sales tactics, honest opinion and reliable people to deal. Installation was carried by their vetted installers. Took 2 days to complete the job due to the nature of the work but it was just smooth as silk.
Price was perfect as well. If you want the quality job and fair price this mob is on the money. There were few cheaper quotes but had no confidence, were selling just on price.
Well done Sunrun Solar, you have earned my trust and will recommend you to everyone I know.

I got three quotes and by far this guys quoted me the best price and for what I wanted. I didn’t go for them because of their pricing but also their reputation and other great reviews. Rahul was very helpful and knowledgeable on the products on offer. He was there from start to finish. Even the call back from Rahul at the end when everything was installed was pleasant. They were committed to have my system ready and made sure any issues where dwelt with promptly. Overall will definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to install Solar.

After looking around to find a trustworthy and reliable solar retailer we stumbled onto Sunrun Solar’s website when looking for solar in Melbourne. We sent the enquiry to Sunrun Solar to contact us and they got in touch on the same day.
Unlike other retailers we had contacted, Sunrun Solar took the time to ask us what our future plans in the house were and wanted to tailor a quote not just for now but for any future plans we had as well.
The initial call took around 30 mis and in that time they ensured that the process, how solar worked and the expectations were explained to ensure we knew what we were getting and also the value of the system as well.
After careful consideration and explanation we decided to go with a SolarEdge inverter as the optimisers allow for a better output overtime even though we don’t have any shading issues at our property. The SolarEdge inverter we went with (Energy Hub) also has the capability to connect a battery with ease in the future as well.
The installers on the day were well mannered, helped to explain everything further and cleaned up when the job was done.
The inspection from Energy Safe Victoria was a success and the system has been working well ever since it was turned on. We love that we can see the individual panel performance on the app.
I would highly recommend Sunrun Solar to anyone. Even though they aren’t the cheapest retailer we saw from our quotes we were happy to pay a little extra for the experience that was offered and the follow through to back it up.

Competitive pricing, professional, fast installation. Very happy with the work from Tarek and the team. I recently had a pool installed and my electricity bills were through the roof approximately $600 per month. Sunrun solar gave me the right advice with the system i needed for my home. They installed it in 1 day and linked it all to my electricity company. My bills are now approximately $150 per month. Good work team.
