The Sale :
We engaged with Joe from SunSolar Energy for our new solar system. He gave us the options relevant to our property and family needs. He was very competitive on pricing. Once we had decided on the system to be installed, we only had to place a $50 deposit to lock in an installation date. With a small deposit like that, we were more confident about not being scammed like you usually hear with dodgy solar companies etc.
The Installation:
Installation date was locked in a few days after paying the deposit. On the morning of schedule install, I received a call from the install team 1hr before being onsite.
The installers were professional. They completed the job within 4hrs. Thats not bad considering they had to remove our old solar too. They cleaned up after themselves and help setup the wifi on the inverter.
It took just over 1 week for an electrician to show up for inspection and turn on the solar.
Overall we had a good experience from sales to install.
I would recommend Joe and his team if youre in the market for a solar system.

I enquired for a solar system a couple of years ago, and got solar installed from another company more than a year ago. But I keep getting calls from SunSolar almost every month since then. Even after politely requesting all the sales agent to remove my contact from their system, they say it’s removed but then I get call from another agent from Sunsolar the next month. All the agents claiming they are new. This is my last resort to get the company action on my request. If this doesn’t happen, I may have to seek legal advise.
